The role

Are you a skilled communications all-rounder with superb writing and interpersonal skills? Can you plan and deliver creative, effective communications and engagement campaigns that support our strategy and engage our stakeholders, members and staff?

The person

We are looking for a superb communications manager who can lead the planning and development of IOP’s strategic and flagship communications campaigns and work collaboratively with the IOP’s communications, marketing and digital teams to take forward a new integrated and strategic approach to communications.

This is an exciting and varied role for an experienced professional with strong strategic communications, creative and planning skills who is looking for their next career step.

From raising awareness of our ground-breaking education, diversity, science and innovation programmes, developing our role as a trusted commentator, amplifying our policy engagement or helping spread the word about physics and its value with the public, this is an exciting time to join IOP.
