We are seeking for a Company Secretary Assistant (CSA) to join our CEO office in London to support the operational engagement and works of the IOP and the IOP Group of companies.

The role

This is an exciting role that requires the responsibilities for the CSA to deliver good quality governance administration across the IOP Groups of companies in accordance with the IOP’s Bylaws & Regulations, legislation and appropriate best practice. In support of this, the CSA will work closely with the legal and finance shared service centres (located in Bristol) on governance and reporting. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and collation of papers for the governance committees
  • To support the Company Secretary to establish and maintain an appropriate and effective governance cycle across the Group
  • To plan and administer trustee induction and training in accordance with best practice
  • To monitor and provide advice on changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, helping to adapt.

The Person

We are looking for an accurate, detailed, proactive and dependable professional to join our CEO office as a Company Secretary Assistant. The ideal candidate may either have an ICSE qualification or be part qualified, otherwise equivalent professional experience. You should also be computer literate, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

You should have excellent organisational skills and the ability to positively communicate with others. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience working in executive communication. You will be driven for results, taking responsibility for managing and measuring your work. You will need to be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of all clienteles and associates.
