We are seeking an insightful, talented Marketing Communications Executive to lead the management and development of marketing campaigns, plans and activities for recruiting physics teachers into Initial Teacher Education (ITE) and working with external stakeholders to achieve the objectives.

The role

This is an exciting role for a marketing communications professional with strong communications and project management skills. The post holder will be accountable for developing and maintaining ITE marketing communications activities for the IOP’s teacher recruitment programme, and developing marketing communications plans and activity to maintain the marketing communications resources and engagement activity. As Marketing Communications Executive, you will work with external partners and oversee the running of campus based recruitment activities at a variety of sites with some travel involved (around 5 to 10 days per year). You will also offer marketing communications advice to the Education team in collaboration with the wider communications and marketing department.

The Person

We are looking for a talented marketing communications professional with a track record of developing and delivering marketing communications activities, plans and projects that deliver within brand guidelines. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to write engaging and accurate copy and content. Strong interpersonal skills are key and it is important to be able to communicate effectively and positively with others to foster the development of a common vision.
