Digital Technology Manager - 2 year fixed term

The Institute of Physics is looking for a confident and proactive Digital Technology Manager  to define and deliver best-in-class products through agile processes, working across the IOP to embed a system and cultural transformation in digital services and build a high performance software development team.

This role will join at an exciting stage of IOP’s Digital Strategy, and will be the organisations technical lead on all digital platforms at the Institute. The role will need to manage the decommissioning of legacy systems and hosting environments and work with the Digital Communications Programme Manager to identify the appropriate platforms for the Institute and the services it will require for the future.

About You

We are looking for someone with a degree/other qualification in IT or similar, or a good level of demonstrable experience.  You will have excellent people and team management skills, the ability to understand and manage complex, technical projects.  You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work and communicate with a number of stakeholders with varying levels of IT capability and to handle a busy and varied workload.
